About Eka Montessori House of Children
At Eka, we believe every child carries something entirely their own — a spark of curiosity, a way of seeing the world that's theirs alone. Our work is simply to protect that spark, and let it grow.
We started Eka in 2014 with one hope: that children could learn to trust themselves — to become independent, thoughtful, and quietly sure of who they are — without losing an ounce of their creativity, imagination, or innocence along the way. Over a decade on, that hope still guides everything we do.
Tucked into the tree-lined streets of Kumarapark, Eka is a quiet corner in the middle of a busy city — a place where childhood gets to unfold at its own pace.
Our Outer Play Area
A green, open space where children can feel the sun, follow the breeze and simply be. There is room to move, explore and play — from quiet moments of discovery to rope climbs and slides that invite a little more adventure.
Our Gardening Space
Here, children get their hands in the soil and meet the small, wonderful world of plants and creatures — up close, and on their own terms.
More than anything, we want every child who grows up at Eka to become a whole person — bright and thoughtful, yes, but also kind. Strong, but gentle. Full of enthusiasm, yet at peace within.
There are no raised voices here. No harsh words. No rewards dangled, no punishments threatened — just children, trusted to do their own good work.
A school run by Eka Educational Trust.
